        We take privacy and security very seriously. It follows that managing money - income and expenses - for whatever the reason - personal, family, home or household - is very personal and private information that must be protected. So when we designed our software and spreadsheet program, and access to it, we tried to consider every possible means by which it could be accessed by others, and tried to protect it accordingly. Therefore, the only way that your spreadsheet can be seen is by entering your user ID and Password, but only you know your password. The confidence in our results is demonstrated in the fact that we use the budget and financial planning spreadsheet ourselves for personal, household and business needs.

In keeping with the motto of our parent company, which is, Helping to Understand Our World .. Committed to Finding Better Ways to Live in It ^(TM) we provide for your information a simplified block-diagram of the overall process that we use to provide our online budget spreadsheet services.

        The Budget-Master LLC part of the overall process, including all customer accounts and spreadsheets are protected by encryption. The SSL security is provided by Equifax Secure Global eBusiness.

The bank that provides the Budget-Master LLC checking account uses encryption for our transactions with it. The payment gateway and merchant account (automated clearing house - ACH) uses encryption between it and the Budget-Master LLC shopping cart, then uses encryption between it and all electronic payment providers (credit card companies, etc.). When a payment is made Budget- Master LLC is notified so that we can provide the customer a spreadsheet for the time-period selected. The ACH provides encryption when transferring funds, less transaction costs, to the bank that provides us the company checking account.

Protecting the Privacy of the Purchase Transaction

       To protect your purchase privacy Budget-Master LLC does not have access to or store credit or debit card information.) To place an order using a credit or debit card please use the secure payment gateway. Or mail a check to the address given on the Subscription Page.

Budget-Master LLC derives its revenue from the sale of products, services and licensing, not from selling or sharing information about customers. We therefore do not request information about customers other than email address.
